Requirements
  • Knowledge of basic quality tools, risk analysis, and statistics, including statistical process control.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of quality system requirements, ISO requirements, and Food and Drug Administration requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and expedite critical project tasks with other functional groups.
  • Experience with statistical process control and inspection techniques.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze and review the effectiveness of preventive and corrective actions, and review root-cause investigations according to an established process.
  • Own quality metrics, including maintaining and reviewing leading and lagging quality indicators.
  • Develop, interpret, and implement process-monitoring and control methods consistent with process and product risk.
  • Collect data and conduct analytical and statistical analysis and interpretation for process improvements and day-to-day support.
  • Document, justify, review, or analyze proposed process changes to assess whether they increase risk beyond the capability of current controls or could result in noncompliance with required standards such as Quality System Regulations.
