Requirements
  • Experience in emergency care.
  • A car is mandatory.
  • For emergency work, ability to perform triage and work in the resuscitation room is required.
  • For emergency work, current resuscitation, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) qualifications are required.
  • For emergency work, ability to perform triage using the Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) is an asset.
  • For intensive-care work, ability to read arrhythmias is required.
  • For intensive-care work, current resuscitation, ACLS, and CPR qualifications are required.
Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assess patients in the emergency department.
  • Perform triage according to the Canadian scale.
  • Provide care for trauma and resuscitation cases.
  • Assess patients' health and provide the required care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure rapid and safe care.
  • Maintain complete and compliant clinical documentation.
Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to perform triage using CTAS is an asset.
