- Must be at least 18 years old.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be comfortable using computer systems and software.
- Must support and collaborate with teammates.
- Must be open to learning, feedback, and improvement.
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard, monitor, and mouse frequently and use a monitor for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods.
- Must occasionally bend, stretch, or stoop.
- Greet and assist visitors and respond appropriately to inquiries.
- Provide general service orientation to patients.
- Review insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Secure payment authorizations and collect copayments.
- Provide patient service functions.
- Manage incoming calls and distribute messages.
- Schedule patients.
- Maintain the office and lobby appearance and ensure office equipment is working.
- Help foster a safe, warm, and friendly clinic atmosphere.
- Take initiative and support the team, regardless of title.
- Work with the team to solve challenges and celebrate successes.
- Aim to exceed patients’ expectations in every interaction.
- One year of previous physical therapy or medical front-office experience is highly desirable.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
- Provide excellent customer service in every interaction.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing demands.
