Requirements
  • A four-year degree in a related technical or data analytics field is required.
  • At least 4 years of SAS 9.4 analytics experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data structures is required.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain overall availability and health of the SAS environment through user training, maintenance, performance tuning, and troubleshooting system-related issues.
  • Maintain custom SAS 9.4 processes, including SAS re-rating, reporting, and automation, as needed or directed.
  • Administer the SAS platform by controlling security, accessibility, and connections to data sources in alignment with company compliance requirements.
  • Learn and maintain best practices for deployment, implementation, and administration of various SAS products.
  • Apply SAS security hot fixes as required in alignment with IT procedures.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to create, implement, and deploy business solutions as needed.
  • Communicate directly with business representatives to extract requirements and review work in progress.
  • Abide by company and department policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager.
  • Attend and participate in department meetings.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in the insurance industry, particularly non-standard auto insurance.
  • 8 or more years of SAS 9.4 experience covering analytics and administration.
  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Experience with ArcGIS.
