incident.io launches PagerDuty rescue with contract buyouts and 99.99% uptime guarantee

incident.io has launched the PagerDuty Rescue Program, offering automated migration, contract buyouts and a 99.99% uptime guarantee to companies switching from PagerDuty. The AI-powered incident management platform, used by over 2,000 companies including Netflix and Airbnb, aims to capitalise on frustration with PagerDuty's perceived lack of innovation. The programme includes contract buyouts offering up to one year of free service, white-glove migration support, and AI-first on-call capabilities that autonomously investigate alerts by correlating deployments, logs and past incidents. CEO Stephen Whitworth said PagerDuty "stopped innovating years ago" and customers stayed only because migration was difficult. Founded in 2021, incident.io has raised over $100 million from Insight Partners, Index Ventures and Point Nine Capital. The programme is available immediately to PagerDuty customers.
