About the job
- At least one year of interpretation experience.
- Ability to interpret effectively between Vietnamese and English in both directions.
- Adherence to the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks, duties, projects, and paperwork accurately, promptly, and within approved guidelines.
- Ability to quickly learn and implement new and changing technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, highly regulated environment.
- Willingness and ability to complete additional duties and assignments on an ongoing basis.
- Proficiency with computers, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, electronic scheduling, and the internet.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- For video remote interpreting assignments: a computer or laptop, Windows 10 or higher, a steady wired internet connection, minimum download speeds of 20 Mbps and upload speeds of 10 Mbps, a webcam, a USB wired headset, and a contrasting solid-color backdrop.
- Provide interpretation services in medical, educational, and other settings.
- Accurately complete assigned tasks, duties, projects, and paperwork promptly and within approved guidelines.
