Requirements
  • A terminal or doctoral degree appropriate to the discipline, such as a Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Education, clinical doctorate, or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of combined academic, clinical, and leadership experience within the discipline, including academic, administrative, product management, or educational technology leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex academic initiatives, advise senior academic stakeholders, and operate effectively in matrix environments.
  • Experience working with programmatic accreditation standards relevant to the discipline.
  • A successful track record launching new academic products, services, or programs.
  • Experience leveraging enterprise customer relationship management systems and other platforms to manage partner data, profit and loss, pipelines, and performance reports.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to university partners on program development, student success, growth, quality, and long-term sustainability.
  • Collaborate with Learning, Design, and Technology to architect and revise curriculum and academic frameworks aligned with accreditation standards, workforce needs, and institutional goals.
  • Create and lead faculty development and mentoring programs shaped by discipline-specific best practices.
  • Support recruitment of key academic leaders, including Program Directors and Directors of Clinical Education.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and execute program launches, providing discipline-specific leadership for academic quality, regulatory compliance, and launch readiness.
  • Develop, expand, and optimize clinical affiliation networks with clinical education teams and healthcare organizations.
  • Create and strengthen recruitment pipelines that transition students from clinical placements to graduates and employed healthcare professionals.
  • Provide discipline-specific expertise on clinical education models, fieldwork requirements, experiential learning practices, and accreditation standards.
  • Develop scalable strategies to improve the quality, availability, and effectiveness of clinical and fieldwork placements.
  • Serve as the lead subject-matter expert for developing, reviewing, and enhancing curricular resources, instructional materials, and learning frameworks.
  • Support the development, revision, and maintenance of academic products and services.
  • Support innovation in program delivery models that enhance quality, scalability, and student success.
  • Provide strategic insights on discipline-specific learner demographics, market trends, audience segmentation, competitive positioning, and messaging.
  • Participate in brand-building initiatives that enhance organizational awareness, engagement, and market credibility.
  • Contribute discipline-specific thought leadership content, research, and industry insights.
  • Advise Enrollment teams on prospective student needs, motivations, and decision-making factors.
  • Provide discipline-specific recommendations for recruitment and communication strategies.
  • Support engagement approaches that improve inquiry-to-enrollment conversion and student persistence.
  • Conduct routine audits of conversation guides and student interactions for alignment with messaging, learner expectations, and enrollment outcomes.
  • Provide expert guidance on accreditation, regulatory, and professional standards and identify emerging trends, requirements, and compliance risks.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in discipline-specific accreditation standards and regulatory requirements, providing strategic recommendations.
  • Advise academic programs, curricula, and strategic initiatives on alignment with evolving accreditation and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead discipline-specific market analysis and provide strategic recommendations for healthcare education growth opportunities.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on workforce trends, healthcare employment demand, and evolving professional roles.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with healthcare organizations, professional associations, and industry stakeholders.
  • Advise prospective university and healthcare partners on product or program viability, delivery models, competitive positioning, and critical success factors.
  • Serve as the senior discipline expert and trusted advisor across academic, operational, and partnership functions.
  • Exercise strategic influence with university and healthcare partners to develop evidence-based products and services addressing workforce demands.
  • Represent the organization through scholarly work, professional engagement, conference presentations, and industry leadership activities.
  • Own and maintain the discipline-specific knowledge base across service lines.
