Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent additional years of related experience.
  • At least ten years of information technology experience focused on development projects, DevSecOps, and technical architecture.
  • At least three years of experience architecting and designing enterprise applications in cloud platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services.
  • Expertise deploying large-scale, high-performance enterprise applications and developing solution architectures in complex heterogeneous Amazon Web Services environments.
  • Strong understanding and work experience in DevSecOps, including Java, continuous integration and continuous delivery, infrastructure and code automation, Kubernetes, and the Amazon Web Services suite of services.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to secure a public trust clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain DevOps infrastructure.
  • Develop infrastructure testing procedures and confirm that they are properly implemented.
  • Monitor key performance metrics to ensure that the DevSecOps infrastructure is capable of meeting them.
  • Maintain knowledge of new industry tools and techniques and recommend updates to management.
  • Work closely with developers and engineers to develop application architectures, align development plans, and ensure effective integration among information systems and information technology infrastructure.
  • Ensure that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry standards and emerging business requirements.
  • Understand the interactions between systems, applications, and services within the environment, and evaluate the impact of changes or additions.
  • Analyze systems and perform testing to ensure performance and reliability, enhance scalability, and meet security requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Department of Homeland Security or United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
  • Amazon Web Services certification.
