Operations Planning Analyst

Provides operational support based on knowledge of relevant business systems, products, processes, and procedures and supports operational activities for business growth. Contributes to and updates plans and monitors, collects, and analyzes program/product metrics (e.g., forecasts, budgets, demands, KPIs). Establishes market baselines and contributes to forecasting analyses, processes, and reports, and addresses supply/demand related issues. Contributes to pricing execution and resolves pricing and rebate issues. Formally presents and communicates key metrics and findings.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to comprehend business requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
• Presents and communicates on systems enhancements, products, processes, and metrics.
• Candidate will be responsible for developing solutions in Advanced Visualizations. Self Service Analytics using Tableau, Alteryx, Oracle Analytics Cloud and Power BI. 
• Candidate is expected to be highly analytical and process-oriented with in-depth knowledge of Python, VBA, Data Integration, Data Analysis and Data Exploration.
• Good understanding of business environment, excellent communication skill and ability to work in a fast environment.
• This position acts as one of the key resources to take up the complete development activity with strong dedication & attain functional expertise & will assist the team in data delivery, data quality, etc. in all phases/cycles of business intelligence and Advanced Analytics.
• Working under close supervision. Using deductive problem solving required to solve moderately complex problems; most problems have defined processes of diagnosis/detection; some limited data analysis may be required.
• Collaborates closely with high-level representatives across functions and partners globally to develop, integrate, and/or execute project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for large and/or multiple project

This is an office based position located in San Diego, CA.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 3+ years of business operations or related experience.  

OR

• Associate's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 6+ years of business operations or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance,  Marketing, or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant technology industry experience.
• 2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
• 3+ years of experience with data visualizations tools such as Tableau , Oracle Analytics Cloud or Power BI. Experience in Statistical knowledge to support Advanced Analytics and complex visualizations.
• 3 + years of experience with Python/VBA programming Language and relational database like Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Agile methodologies in program/project management.
• Ability to analyze complex data sources, develop key performance metrics, and create actionable deliverables.
• In depth understating in sales automation, CRM, Planning and Forecasting systems.
• Strong technical, and problem-solving skills to optimize sales processes and address challenges.
