Requirements
  • CA or CWA qualification with graduation in commerce.
  • Five to eight years of professional experience, preferably in the service industry in a similar role.
  • Good understanding of finance operations, Indian compliances, accounts payable, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint, with capability in data analysis.
  • Knowledge of global accounting standards, including IGAAP and United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Experience coordinating or working with internal and external auditors and consultants, including Big Four firms.
  • Ability to foresee risks and be proactive and predictive.
  • Ability to work comfortably in a global team setup.
  • Willingness to work beyond standard working hours during key reporting cycles.
  • Ability to build impactful relationships with domestic and overseas teams.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting and maintain vouchers, receipts, bills, and payment records in accordance with Indian regulations.
  • Coordinate monthly Goods and Services Tax and Tax Deducted at Source filings and returns, ensuring timely and accurate filing.
  • Manage intercompany accounting and billing with adequate transfer-pricing documentation.
  • Analyze and perform month-end close tasks, including cost allocations between locations.
  • Finalize accounts and maintain statements of accounts, balance sheet statements, trial balances, ledger scrutiny, and fixed-asset records.
  • Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and consultants, including Big Four firms, to ensure timely and accurate closures.
  • Work closely with business, human resources, administration, and information technology to align financial processes and results.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
