Job Description
We are looking for talents to work closely with senior finance management and key tech partners to manage AWS financial planning, target setting, variance analysis, cost optimization and decision support. This is an exceptional opportunity to participate in improving Coupang’s AWS cloud visibility & cost efficiency as well as to create a world where our customers wonder, “How did we ever live without Coupang?”
Key Responsibilities
Assist senior FP&A manager with the ongoing development of monthly AWS expenditure reporting, quarterly AWS forecasting, annual operational planning (AOP) and variance analysis.
- Monitor cloud fees cost current month estimate (CME) and provide accounting guidance during month end close.
Work with a variety of data sources, pull data using efficient queries, build excel models and run Tableau workbooks for AWS financial planning and reporting.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Tech Engineering Leaders, TPMs and Business Unit FP&A) to develop and continuously improve AWS cloud availability and cost efficiency.
Identify potential risks and anomalies related to AWS usage and costs, develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies to minimize financial risks and ensure business continuity.
Further drive AWS reporting & forecasting automation and simplification
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- 4+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) in a fast-paced technology-oriented organization
- Proficient in using MS Office Excel. Experience with SQL & Tableau & Python.
- Experienced in developing complex financial models, creating new financial processes, models and tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deep dive. Experienced in leading financial projects, improving processes, or participating in decision-making
- Experience in delivering effective results in a fast changing and growing environment
Pay & Benefits
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. At Coupang, your base pay is one part of your total compensation.
The base pay for this position ranges from $112,000/year in our lowest geographic market to $139,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
