About the job
- Higher maritime education, a Captain or Chief Engineer certificate, or higher education in management.
- Management experience within a maritime company or shipowner.
- Strong knowledge of fleet management and ISM/ISPS standards.
- Knowledge of HSE matters, risk management, and operational reporting.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Manage the operational cell and the performance of assigned vessels.
- Supervise operations and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Manage and support Captains through objectives, evaluations, and follow-up.
- Coordinate between vessels, shore-based teams, and other departments.
- Ensure compliance with contracts, budgets, and customer commitments.
- Track audits, action plans, and corrective actions through completion.
- Promote a strong HSE culture across the fleet.
- Serve as the primary contact for Captains and internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with classification societies, flag authorities, and suppliers.
