About the job
- An active Department of Defense Secret clearance with the ability to be submitted for a Top Secret clearance.
- A bachelor's degree in a STEM field, specifically Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- At least 2 years of experience performing and developing simulations or testing new or modified products or product components.
- Knowledge of general coding fundamentals, including variables, functions, Booleans, arrays and array manipulation, and code logic.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming.
- Comfort using standard Windows and Office tools.
- Develop radar threat simulations for Aircraft Survivability Equipment software testing and validation.
- Support the Army Reprogramming Analysis Team's broader efforts.
- Interpret parametric data and descriptions of a system's mechanical and radio-frequency capabilities.
- Understand how a system operates functionally and use that information to create radar emitter simulations.
- Determine which design and functional characteristics of radar systems affect characteristics of an emitted radar signal.
- Create algorithms that produce different results based on various provided inputs.
- One year of modeling and simulation experience.
- Ability to digest new technical information rapidly for practical use.
- Interest in improving efficiency and streamlining work procedures.
- Experience with radio-frequency test equipment.
- Experience with GitLab.
- Familiarity with engineering hardware analysis tools, including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers, as well as hardware connectivity and protocols.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
