JOB TITLE: Financial Accountant
LOCATION: Leeds, UK

As we continue to grow, we are excited to add a Financial Accountant to our global team.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do (RESPONSIBILITIES):
- Preparation of intrastat returns
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Communicate with external advisors on the preparation of EU VAT returns
- Preparation of journals and management accounting responsibilities for one our UK entities covering a wide range of areas
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing and providing deliverables to external advisors for EU accounts and tax returns
- Preparation of deliverables for audit and accounts preparation across UK and EU
- Ad-hoc communication with other members of the business to provide financial/statutory information
- Communicate with other teams in finance on VAT queries
ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS (REQUIREMENTS):
- Part qualified CCAB (ACA, ICAS, CAI, ACCA, etc.) or CIMA accountant (essential)
- Experience working to strict reporting deadlines (essential)
- Ability to manage own workload
- Experience with oracle cloud (desirable)
- Experience in practice or in an external reporting team in industry (desirable)
