Ropes is building anti-fraud technology for hiring. DPRK operatives, fake candidates, proxy interviews, and AI-assisted cheating are now common in the contingent labor market. We help staffing, services, and the F500 catch them before they get hired and monitor them after they start their jobs.

What You'll Do:
Partner with leadership to experiment with new channels, messaging, and GTM plays
Own outbound prospecting to staffing and recruiting firms, from initial research to booking qualified meetings
Build and refine target account lists, identifying the right companies and the right people within them
Craft personalized outreach that cuts through the noise and speaks to real pain points in technical hiring
Who You Are:
You're more interested in earning equity and impact than climbing a predetermined ladder
You have 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a high-volume outbound role
You're relentless about hitting activity targets and genuinely enjoy the hunt
You're coachable, competitive, and energized by working in a fast-paced environment

This is an on-site role in New York City, designed for hungry salespeople who want to build something from scratch.
Ropes.ai provides an AI-powered platform that assesses technical talent for engineering and IT roles. Its core product is an asynchronous coding assessment that mimics a live onsite interview; it generates role-specific challenges from a client’s job description and stack and evaluates the entire problem-solving process, not just final code, delivering detailed scorecards similar to human interview feedback. The platform includes anti-cheating features, dynamic difficulty, and real-world simulations, and it integrates with applicant tracking systems like Greenhouse to fit into existing recruiting workflows. Ropes aims to bridge the gap between technical evaluation and on-the-job performance while reducing live-interview costs and bias, and it plans to expand into additional domains such as nursing, design, and finance with ongoing AI-enabled talent validation.
