About the Job

Requirements

Experienced cybersecurity professional with subject-matter depth, commercial insight, and strong advisory skills.
Broad cybersecurity knowledge spanning strategy, governance, operational security, and resilience, with depth in one or more subdomains and experience with frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIS2, ISO 27k, and DORA.
Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and programs from strategy through delivery.
Ability to manage stakeholders and build consensus at senior-management level.
Excellent command of Dutch and English.
Completed university-level (WO) education.
Sector-specific knowledge of the financial regulatory landscape.
Experience with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and guidelines from EBA, EIOPA, and ESMA, and translating these into policies, processes, and organizational design.
Knowledge of DNB Good Practices and supervisory dynamics involving DNB, the ECB, and AFM.

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor to clients in the financial sector.
Help clients define security strategies, translate them into implementable initiatives and suitable operating models, and drive successful delivery.
Advise at the intersection of cybersecurity and broader areas such as operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation.
Establish reporting structures that give senior management visibility into security effectiveness, and design governance structures aligned with supervisory expectations, including the allocation of responsibilities across organizational lines.
Lead security-related projects and programs from scoping through delivery.
Facilitate stakeholder groups and achieve alignment among parties with differing interests.
Identify commercial opportunities, deepen existing client relationships, build new relationships, and contribute to proposal development and client presentations.
Coach and guide junior professionals.
Contribute to thought leadership and methodology development.
Maintain an active network at senior-management level within financial services.

Je bent de trusted advisor voor onze klanten in de financiële sector. Je helpt hen hun security-strategie te definiëren, vertaalt die naar implementeerbare initiatieven en passende operating models, en stuurt op succesvolle oplevering. Je adviseert op het snijvlak van cybersecurity en bredere thema's zoals operationele resilience, regulatory compliance en digitale transformatie. Daarbij richt je rapportagestructuren in die (senior) management zichtbaarheid geven op de effectiviteit van security, en ontwerp je governance-structuren in lijn met de verwachtingen van toezichthouders, waaronder de verdeling van verantwoordelijkheden over de organisatielijnen.

Je leidt security-gerelateerde projecten en programma's, van scopebepaling tot en met oplevering. Je faciliteert stakeholdergroepen en bereikt alignment tussen partijen met uiteenlopende belangen. Je signaleert commerciële kansen, verdiept bestaande klantrelaties, bouwt nieuwe op en draagt bij aan proposalontwikkeling en klantpresentaties.

Je coacht en begeleidt junior professionals, draagt bij aan thought leadership en methodiekontwikkeling, en onderhoudt een actief netwerk op (senior) managementniveau binnen de financiële dienstverlening.

Functie-eisen

Ervaren cybersecurity-professional die inhoudelijke diepgang combineert met commercieel inzicht en sterke adviesvaardigheden.
Brede kennis van het cybersecuritydomein, van strategie en governance tot operationele security en resilience, met diepgang op één of meerdere deelgebieden en ervaring met kaders zoals NIST CSF, NIS2, ISO27k en DORA.
Helder en doelgroepgericht in communicatie, zowel naar technische als niet-technische stakeholders.
Bewezen vermogen om projecten en programma's aan te sturen van strategie tot oplevering.
Sterk in stakeholdermanagement en het bereiken van consensus op (senior) managementniveau
Uitstekende beheersing van Nederlands en Engels.
Een afgeronde WO-opleiding.
Je brengt sectorspecifieke kennis mee van het financiële toezichtlandschap.
Ervaring met de Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) en richtlijnen van EBA, EIOPA en ESMA, en de vertaling daarvan naar beleid, processen en organisatie-inrichting.
Kennis van DNB Good Practices en toezichtdynamiek vanuit DNB, ECB en AFM.
