Integration Designer - IBM Datapower
About the job
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in end-to-end integration solution design is required.
- At least 2 years of experience designing and developing integrations using IBM integration technologies is required.
- Proficiency in IBM DataPower, IBM API Connect, and IBM App Connect is required.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, protocols, and standards is required.
- Experience working with various data formats and transformation techniques is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including spoken and written English, are required.
- Design integrations using IBM integration technologies, with a focus on DataPower.
- Work with clients, Business Analysts, End-to-End Solution Architects, and other application designers to understand requirements and objectives.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance in integration design and development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful implementation and delivery of integration solutions.
- Identify and resolve issues or bugs in integration solutions.
- Stay up to date with integration technologies and best practices.
- Experience in the KSA and/or MEA region.
- Experience in government organizations.
- Experience in the telecommunications domain.
- Deep knowledge of XSLT and experience using it in DataPower.
- Knowledge of OpenShift technologies and deploying IBM products using OpenShift.
- Availability to work on-site in KSA full-time.
- Spoken and written Arabic.
- Knowledge of other API management and ESB integration tools, such as Software AG webMethods and API Gateway, Apigee, and MuleSoft.
- Experience with IBM product infrastructure design, setup, configurations, and best practices.
- Strong debugging and analysis skills to track and identify root causes.
- Strong knowledge of API design standards, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience designing and developing multiple services using different standards for SOAP and REST, web services, data integration techniques, and messaging.
