About the Job

Requirements

  • Exceptional storytelling and writing ability, with writing samples assessed during hiring.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in product marketing, brand or content strategy, communications, or a comparable narrative-led role; adjacent backgrounds such as journalism, documentary, impact communications, or science communication are acceptable when paired with demonstrated commercial application.
  • A track record of packaging complex or technical subject matter into positioning, narratives, and assets adopted by a sales team, with evidence of adoption.
  • Demonstrated sales enablement experience, including building playbooks, proof-point libraries, and training programs and measuring their effect on representative behavior.
  • Comfort presenting as a customer-facing subject-matter expert to enterprise audiences and answering informed questions without owning the commercial conversation.
  • Interest in technical and scientific subject matter and the discipline to represent it accurately; a forestry background is not required.
  • Experience owning cross-functional processes such as launch checklists, readiness gates, and intake-to-market workflows in an environment where those processes did not previously exist.
  • Fluency with customer relationship management and enablement tools; HubSpot is preferred. Ability to use artificial intelligence to make knowledge accessible when needed.
  • Based in or able to work core hours in the Pacific Standard Time zone, and willing to travel to customer sites, planting sites, and the Vancouver office as required.
  • Able to create structure, systems, and processes where none exist; curious about forestry, science, and communities; committed to credible restoration; rigorous and detail-oriented; able to influence cross-functional teams without authority; and clear, direct, and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own a current, authoritative canonical library of facts for every project the company sells, replacing scattered documents and tribal knowledge.
  • Work with the Forest team to turn project intake into commercially usable intelligence, including project purpose, permanence versus managed harvest and rotation length, species selection and rationale, survivability and mortality data, monitoring methodology, and site-level context.
  • Maintain the project library on a defined cadence, with clear ownership of each input and version control.
  • Make project facts accessible in Forge and artificial intelligence tools so sales representatives can retrieve accurate answers during live calls.
  • Translate every project into a sales-ready package containing its narrative, value proposition, proof points, and per-project sales assets.
  • Standardize delivery into ecosystem packages such as mangrove, terrestrial, wildfire, and agroforestry, and own the product catalogue.
  • Own positioning across the solution portfolio as the company expands from a single product to solutions spanning multiple offerings and stakeholders.
  • Partner with Revenue and Finance on per-project pricing guidance and its commercial rationale.
  • Manage changes when project metrics are updated by correcting collateral, the portal, and Customer Success materials on a set cadence, and auditing existing market materials.
  • Define which projects to lead with for each segment and create matching logic to help representatives select projects for buyers.
  • Develop worker, community, and ecosystem impact narratives for priority projects, grounded in evidence and data.
  • Use monitoring technology, field data, and media to substantiate impact claims for clients to publish and defend.
  • Partner with Marketing to turn project narratives into case studies, impact reports, campaign materials, and event content.
  • Turn Forest methodologies, including survivability, planting hours, social impact, carbon, permanence, and verification, into defensible sales talk tracks, proof points, and objection handling.
  • Own the enablement library for project and impact content, including playbooks, proof points, objection handling, discovery guidance, and competitive framing.
  • Design and deliver training and certification so representatives across Business Development, Sales, and Customer Success can communicate consistently and credibly.
  • Review sales calls, identify where the narrative breaks down, and address gaps with improved materials and coaching.
  • Run a feedback loop from the field into project packaging so future materials reflect what resonates with buyers.
  • Join sales and Customer Success calls as the project and impact expert when representatives need specialist support.
  • Answer detailed questions about permanence and additionality, survivability and replanting, harvest rotation and end use, monitoring and verification methodology, species and site selection, and social impact measurement.
  • Represent the company before sustainability, environmental, social and governance, and procurement stakeholders, and support diligence as needed.
  • Use calls as diagnostics to identify knowledge gaps and develop materials and coaching so representatives can answer future questions themselves.
  • Own launch checklists and cross-functional readiness for new projects and solutions, defining and enforcing the standard for readiness to sell.
  • Manage project availability by taking projects online when ready and offline when sold out or paused.
  • Coordinate Forest, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success through launches.
  • Communicate internally about new offerings and changes, their commercial implications, and actions required of each team.
  • Work across Forest, Product, Marketing, Sales, Business Development, and Customer Success as the source of truth on projects.
  • Feed field and buyer insights back to Forest and Product, influencing project sourcing, project descriptions, and future technology data capture.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in tree planting, forestry, carbon markets, sustainability, or nature-based solutions.
  • Familiarity with environmental, social and governance and nature-reporting frameworks, including CSRD, TNFD, SBTi, and CDP.
  • Experience with measurement, reporting, and verification methodologies, remote sensing, or field data collection technology.
  • Background in social impact measurement or community development.
  • Experience building artificial-intelligence-assisted knowledge bases or enablement tools for live-call support.
