Head of Sales at Prive is an opportunity to be in a leadership role at a high-growth startup changing how the world buys. Over the past year, Prive has built out a small but nimble sales team, selling into the next generation of consumer brands. As we have climbed upmarket since our launch and struck strategic partnerships with big payoff, we are now looking for a sales leader to help grow the team and take Prive’s sales strategy to the next level, while also winning deals with our most important accounts. Through your expertise as a highly effective closer, and leadership in all things outbound sales, you will help us cement our position as a leader in the eCommerce recurring revenue space.
This role will report directly to the co-founding team. Initially this role will focus on putting systems in place to drive repeatability while also experimenting and testing with new sales motions and strategies. We have ambitious sales targets and need your help to refine and craft a well-oiled machine so we blow past our goals for our core subscriptions product.
As a Head of Sales, not only will you grow and scale our outbound sales strategy, but you will also have a front-row seat to what it takes to run and scale an early-stage startup. What you will do:
Own the sales process from prospect to closed account. This means managing our reps, SDRs, and building world-class team around you.
Experiment and test as we refine our sales strategy. Develop plans and strategies to test. You will be reporting up to the C-suite on the progress of the entire sales org.
Work directly with Marketing to refine and refine again our positioning and messaging.
Educate accounts on the value and power of Prive
Rally the sales team around Prive’s revenue goals while helping reps with tactical sales skills as well as reporting.
Who we are looking for:
6-10 years of e-commerce or SaaS related experience in a sales function. Bonus points if you have driven meaningful outcomes at a Series A startup.
Experience closing 6-figure deals and managing 20+ opportunities concurrently. Bonus points if you have experience managing reps.
Process mastery- Not only are you a killer sales closer, but you also are process minded and have a knack for developing structure and frameworks so the team can make strategic decisions and establish repeatability. Data is an important part, and you love to think through conversion, pipeline coverage, and how we can use data to drive to the truth.
Think from first principles- You are eager to think outside the box and experiment and creative sales strategies. What exists today is not what should exist in an ideal world.
Talk the talk- You have experience in the eCommerce space as you will be building relationships with top eCommerce executives, guiding them through a complex sale.
Act like an owner- You are excited by the whitespace to take what’s in front of you and run with it. You are also passionate about building a team and coaching those around you. We need leaders who can demonstrate grit and enthusiasm no matter what.
