Responsibilities
  • Own enterprise execution of commercial insurance billing processes, including premium invoicing, adjustments, audits, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across policy administration, billing platforms, general ledger, and premium accounting systems.
  • Oversee complex billing structures, including layered programs, captive arrangements, and multinational placements.
  • Partner with Finance and Underwriting to resolve systemic billing issues affecting revenue recognition or cash flow.
  • Own collections performance across domestic and multinational insurance programs, including master and local policy structures.
  • Establish enterprise standards for tracking, reporting, and reconciliation of multinational receivables, including cash collected locally versus centrally.
  • Drive timely premium collection, reduced aging, and disciplined follow-up across jurisdictions and currencies.
  • Coordinate with international affiliates, fronting partners, brokers, and local operations to resolve cross-border collection issues.
  • Provide cash visibility, aging analysis, and risk exposure reporting for multinational programs.
  • Lead onshore teams responsible for complex billing scenarios, multinational collections coordination, dispute resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Oversee offshore teams and automation solutions delivering standardized billing, cash application, collections follow-ups, and reconciliations.
  • Define and enforce service-level agreements, key performance indicators, and quality standards across delivery partners.
  • Optimize work allocation across onshore, offshore, and automated workflows to improve efficiency, cost, and control.
  • Set execution priorities for billing and collections process modernization aligned to the enterprise operating model.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and performance management of automation and agentic solutions supporting invoicing, cash application, collections follow-ups, dispute tracking, and multinational cash visibility.
  • Ensure automation delivers measurable outcomes, including cycle time, accuracy, cash acceleration, and productivity, while remaining auditable and controlled.
  • Monitor automation performance and exception handling, and drive troubleshooting and remediation with Technology.
  • Identify and prioritize innovation opportunities using data, aging trends, and multinational complexity insights.
  • Maintain operational governance, controls, and regulatory compliance across billing and collections activities, including multinational requirements.
  • Ensure appropriate controls over invoicing accuracy, cash handling, write-offs, adjustments, and foreign currency impacts.
  • Partner with Audit, Risk, and Compliance to support favorable audit outcomes and timely issue remediation.
  • Identify cross-border operational risks and implement sustainable control enhancements.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor managers and senior individual contributors across onshore and offshore teams.
  • Establish accountability, performance metrics, and development plans aligned to enterprise objectives.
  • Build a culture of disciplined execution, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • Engage directly in complex issues, escalations, and decision-making.

August 25, 2026 MSIG USA today announced the launch of its Surety business, offering Commercial and Commercial Contract Surety solutions to brokers and clients across the U.S. The launch brings together MSIG USA's A+, Class XV financial strength and global reach with specialized surety expertise and a data-driven approach to underwriting. MSIG USA is also a U.S. Treasury Listed Surety with a maximum underwriting limitation of $124,003,000 per bond, supporting its ability to meet the needs of organizations with a range of financial and contractual obligations. MSIG USA and MSIG Hong Kong collaborate to support ADB financing program. August 11, 2026 MSIG USA and MSIG Hong Kong, on behalf of MS&AD Insurance Group, are supporting a Master Framework Program with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) designed to expand access to financing across Asia and the Pacific. Through the program, participating insurers will provide risk-sharing support that can help ADB unlock up to $2.5 billion in financing for small businesses, affordable housing and other underserved borrowers. The collaboration brings together expertise from MSIG USA's Political Risk & Trade Credit team and colleagues across MSIG to support an innovative risk-sharing solution that can expand ADB's lending capabilities and contribute to sustainable economic growth throughout the region.
