Requirements
  • Proven track record of shipping at least one of the following algorithms: SLAM, calibration, scene understanding, gaze tracking, human representation, or activity recognition.
  • Knowledge of perception sensing technologies including color and monochrome cameras, depth sensors, and IMUs.
  • Proven track record of optimizing hardware (off the shelf or custom) of computer vision sub system for at least one algorithm.
  • BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
  • Proven track record of custom silicon, sensor, or optics design.
  • Strong leadership skills to drive large cross-functional efforts, resolve conflicts and present results to the highest levels of Apple leadership.
Responsibilities
  • Bringing multiple computer vision algorithm and AI/ML teams together to help drive some of the most exciting programs across multiple Apple products.
  • Enabling co-design of computer vision algorithms and systems through deep understanding of the complexities and tradeoffs.
  • Collaborating and communicating with a wide range of experts and leaders across many different domains.
