Requirements
  • An associate degree in business administration, public administration, information systems, economics, finance, computer science, UX/UI design, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent qualifying course credits; one year of additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
  • One year of experience in the information systems field, including technical support, content management, administration of network applications, system analysis, or service design.
  • Completion of the 1010 Information Systems Trainee Program may substitute for the required degree.
  • The role requires the ability to translate technical concepts into clear guidance for internal customers at all levels of the Office.
  • The role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, a strong customer-service mindset, responsiveness, problem solving, professionalism, self-direction, and the ability to execute work efficiently and accurately.
  • The selected candidate must provide rotating 24-hour on-call support for software or hardware issues affecting mission-critical systems and networks.
Responsibilities
  • Implement management’s technology initiatives by deploying new tools, enhancements, and solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand technical challenges and operational needs and guide them toward effective solutions.
  • Evaluate the current technical environment and identify opportunities to improve processes and technologies.
  • Develop comprehensive user and technical requirements.
  • Conduct training sessions and support end-user adoption of new tools and optimized workflows.
  • Develop usage guidelines, best-practice recommendations, user documentation, training materials, and other supporting resources.
  • Improve system efficiency through problem solving and solution design.
  • Assess current and alternative technology solutions used in legal and litigation workflows, determine which tools best meet the Office’s needs, and implement and support them.
Desired Qualifications
  • Three or more years of experience in the job responsibilities described.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, including Exchange and Entra ID.
  • Experience with Windows and Active Directory.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with NetDocuments.
  • Experience with SharePoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with PowerShell, Windows command shell scripting, and Python.
  • Familiarity with macOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Knowledge of Information Governance, ITIL, and ITSM.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience in consulting or professional services.
  • Experience working in or with the legal industry.
  • Ability to assume responsibility quickly and work independently and efficiently.
  • Ability to manage and balance an active and varied workload, adjust to occasional workload increases, exercise judgment, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team and communicate effectively with internal customers while providing informed guidance about technical options.
