Triple Whale acquires Anteater to track AI visibility and link LLM mentions to revenue

Triple Whale, an e-commerce intelligence platform serving over 50,000 brands, has acquired Anteater, an AI visibility platform that analyses how large language models surface brands in AI-generated answers. The acquisition makes Triple Whale the only platform enabling brands to track AI search visibility alongside business performance and revenue outcomes. The move addresses the rapid shift in consumer discovery from traditional search to AI platforms like ChatGPT and Claude. Triple Whale's internal data shows merchants recorded over 424,000 LLM-referred orders in Q4 2025, representing 60-times year-over-year growth from 2024's 7,000 orders. Anteater's technology analyses thousands of prompts across AI models to determine brand mentions, citations and competitive rankings. The insights integrate with Triple Whale's Moby AI system, which provides recommendations for improving LLM visibility.
