- A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (HND or higher).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex technical instructions.
- Proven experience in project delivery, with a good understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail.
- Experience with PLC programming, ATEX IEC Ex HAZOP, and Petrochemical engineering specifications (desirable).
- Review client specifications and ensure designs comply with national regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare technical documentation including equipment specifications and process control philosophies.
- Support the entire project lifecycle, from the enquiry phase to commissioning, liaising with clients and sub-contractors.
- Develop and debug PLC/HMI programs, and assist with manufacturing, installation, and testing processes.
- Work closely with the Engineering Manager and Electrical Lead, with the potential to take over the Principal Electrical Engineer role within 12 to 18 months.
- Attend project FATs, supporting set-up and acting as a client-facing representative.
