Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required.

  • A minimum of five years in training roles, including delivering didactic content and facilitating adult learning programs, is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of reimbursement fundamentals, including benefit investigations, explanation of benefits interpretation, and revenue cycle management processes, is required.
  • Five years of insurance experience is required.
  • Telephony patient experience is required.
  • Two to five years of Salesforce experience is required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide in-person and/or virtual training to program team members using manufacturer-provided and client-approved materials.
  • Deliver reimbursement fundamentals training covering benefit investigations, explanation of benefits interpretation, and revenue cycle management basics for revenue cycle management and Nurse Navigator team members.
  • Support alignment of training with manufacturer-provided and client-approved content, incorporating or leveraging manufacturer materials where applicable.
  • Communicate training content gaps or update needs to appropriate client and internal stakeholders in alignment with manufacturer-provided and client-approved content standards.
  • Support the training team in maintaining and delivering existing manufacturer-provided and client-approved training materials.
  • Update the knowledge management system to ensure it contains current program and reimbursement information.
  • Facilitate new-hire training and skills-development classes for revenue cycle management and Nurse Navigator populations.
  • Coordinate and deliver reimbursement compliance training updates and skills refresher classes.
  • Track new-hire and annual compliance training completion as needed.
  • Provide follow-up for new-hire classes at 30 and 60 days after training to ensure skills transfer to the job.
  • Document areas of concern for trainees and review the results with the Training and Development Manager.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development in training delivery through webinars and meetings for training professionals.
  • Confer with management to understand work situations requiring employee training and changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies.
  • Determine appropriate instructional methods for group instruction, workshops, and individual training.
  • Select appropriate manufacturer-provided and client-approved training resources and facilitate supplemental exercises such as reimbursement workflow simulations and payer scenario practice.
  • Adhere to training deadlines for corporate policies and procedures governing access to confidential data.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures consistently.
  • Conduct miscellaneous tasks or projects as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in health sciences, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • PACS or CCM experience is preferred.
  • Five years of telephony patient experience is preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed is preferred.
  • Ability to type at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy is preferred.
