Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing pre-sales or solutions engineering role, ideally in the cybersecurity or DevOps tooling space.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins.
  • Understanding of cryptographic security technologies such as Secure Sockets Layer/Transport Layer Security, Secure Shell, Public Key Infrastructure, and Hardware Security Modules.
  • Experience working with Agentic Artificial Intelligence frameworks, large language models, or autonomous artificial intelligence workflows to optimize engineering and automation processes.
  • Development experience in languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
  • Scripting knowledge using PowerShell or Bash, and the ability to work with Representational State Transfer application programming interfaces.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence orchestration, prompt engineering, or integrating artificial intelligence agents into development lifecycles.
  • Experience managing and executing detailed technical responses for requests for information and requests for proposals.
  • Ability to distill complex technical concepts into business value propositions.
Responsibilities
  • Build and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations to create excitement around Idira technology.
  • Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations of Idira products with prospective customers and use sales experience to position Idira's value and differentiators to acquire the technical win.
  • Act as the technical expert and trusted advisor for machine identity security solutions during the sales cycle.
  • Partner with Account Executives to articulate the value of Idira's solutions to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, challenges, and security goals.
  • Translate customer requirements into solution architecture and deployment strategies.
  • Collaborate with product management and research and development to influence product direction and resolve customer issues.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging DevOps tools, continuous integration and continuous delivery, Agentic Artificial Intelligence frameworks, and best practices.
  • Assist in marketing efforts to generate pipeline and increase leads.
  • Deliver technical workshops, webinars, and training sessions to clients and internal teams.
  • Travel as needed to meet customers, attend conferences, or conduct on-site workshops.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and their secrets management systems.
  • Operational experience with Public Key Infrastructure deployment and lifecycle management.
  • Prior experience with identity and access management, privileged access management, or secrets management solutions.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust security models and security compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience securing or deploying autonomous artificial intelligence agents, including managing application programming interface keys, permissions, or secrets for Agentic Artificial Intelligence workflows.
  • Relevant certifications such as Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services, or CyberArk Guardian or Defender certifications.
  • Kubernetes certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist and/or cloud architect certifications for Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Zero Networks expands Palo Alto integration for zero-touch containment and AI security

Zero Networks has expanded its integration with Palo Alto Networks to include zero-touch containment and AI security capabilities. The enhanced partnership builds on their existing automated microsegmentation solution by enabling threat identification and containment at the asset level, with selected traffic redirected to Palo Alto Networks security services for inspection. The integration now surfaces Zero Networks-managed assets and policies through Strata Cloud Manager, providing unified visibility. It combines Zero Networks AI Segmentation with Prisma AIRS to govern AI agents and inspect AI traffic. Traffic redirection is currently available for Linux environments, with Windows support planned. The joint solution allows organisations to contain compromised assets automatically using identity-based microsegmentation whilst managing enforcement through existing infrastructure without network redesign.

Palo Alto Networks has launched the Frontier AI Critical Defense Program to protect critical infrastructure from AI-driven cyber exploits. The initiative enables technology providers to deploy network-level "virtual patches" that neutralise vulnerabilities before attackers can exploit them. The company recently used frontier AI models to discover more than 14,000 previously unknown vulnerabilities in open source software. However, critical infrastructure operators cannot patch systems at AI speed due to uptime and safety requirements, creating an exposure gap. The programme expands existing collaborations with IBM, Red Hat, Microsoft, and Siemens to include Anthropic, OpenAI, Mitsubishi, Axis Communications, and the Linux Foundation's Akrites initiative. The virtual patching system combines AI threat discovery with vulnerability intelligence to deliver rapid network-level protection whilst safeguarding sensitive details from attackers.

Palo Alto Networks' stock has surged 142% over six months to $385.04, but the catalysts were visible in company reports well before the market reacted. The cybersecurity firm disclosed in May 2025 that its researchers simulated a complete ransomware attack in under 25 minutes using AI, signalling a shift in threat landscape. Management responded by acquiring observability platform Chronosphere for $3.35 billion in January 2026 and raising its fiscal 2030 next-generation security ARR target to $20 billion from $15 billion. The thesis materialised in June 2026 results: next-generation security ARR grew 28% year-over-year, whilst next-generation firewall bookings jumped nearly 40%. Palo Alto Networks triples to nearly $300B market value in 12 months on AI security demand

Palo Alto Networks' market value has surged from $113 billion a year ago to nearly $295 billion, a gain of more than 150%. The cybersecurity company acquired identity-security firm CyberArk and observability company Chronosphere, whilst management reports accelerating bookings from customers securing AI deployments. Revenue grew 31% year over year to $3.0 billion in the fiscal third quarter ended 30 April, though $388 million came from acquisitions. Organic revenue growth was approximately 14%. Next-generation security annual recurring revenue reached $8.1 billion, up 60% year over year, with acquisitions contributing $1.6 billion. Excluding acquisitions, growth was 28%. Adjusted earnings per share rose 6% to $0.85, whilst under GAAP accounting the company posted a $177 million quarterly loss. Management maintains guidance for 24% revenue growth in fiscal 2026 and a 40% adjusted free cash flow margin by fiscal 2028.
