- At least one year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Must complete visual color acuity screening when required for the role in specific units.
- Provide patient care in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital.
- Work under the guidance of physicians and advanced practitioners in the medical office setting.
- Perform the specific duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervising physicians, Clinical Leadership, and Scope of Practice after competency is established.
- Prior completion of the state-required X-ray safety course, or begin the course within 30 days of employment and complete it no later than 90 days when performing duties at a medical office location.
- Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant certification.
