Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., energy, environmental science, policy, or engineering) and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Citizenship Required

Responsibilities
  • Analyze data on emerging technologies to identify market trends and policy implications.
  • Align with Data Analysis Support Functional Area initiatives as a Technology Market Analyst that specializes in analyzing technology markets, including EV sales, solar, wind, and emerging energy technologies.
  • Provide public comment review, data analysis, modeling, evaluation, mapping, forecasting and report development, data tracking tools, workforce policy analysis and convening, as well as energy market economic and regulatory analysis technical consulting services and support for the Department of Energy Office of Policy.
  • Develop analyses, support initiatives, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Perform complex data aggregation, analysis, and visualization to inform energy policies and strategies
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in energy market research, and policy, and technical consulting.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, project management methodologies and tools; leadership, interpersonal, time management, adaptability, attention to detail; strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • DOE Q clearance or ability to obtain clearance
