  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualifications/work experience in a relevant field, such as a health- or science-related field.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.

  • An understanding of the clinical sector and associated confidentiality.
  • Unrestricted working rights are required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for clinical research studies in accordance with international and national guidelines, including TGA, ICH-GCP and NHMRC requirements, study protocols, and delegation from the Operations Manager.
  • Assist with study participant recruitment by supporting the design of recruitment materials in line with sponsor and ethics approval and conducting pre-screening activities such as phone calls and emails.
  • Draft, format and prepare ethics submissions and amendments, other forms of communication, and ad hoc project activities.
  • Design and maintain trial-specific databases and online systems, including trackers; enter data into electronic data capture systems; and maintain high-quality study records.
  • Assist study coordinators in managing information flow and establishing and maintaining administrative systems, including spreadsheets and online booking systems; support on-site clinical study visits and assessments, telehealth and phone appointments, and phone and SMS follow-ups.
  • Perform routine research and project work, including data collection and entry, completing study trackers, preparing for trial closure at the site, and relevant archiving.
  • Assist with scientific and laboratory tests, study-specific clinical consumables and equipment orders or rentals, and adequate storage.
