Responsibilities
  • The engineer will own the complete design cycle of Palo Alto Networks hardware, including specification, component selection, schematic entry, layout oversight, prototype bring-up, debugging, and validation testing.
  • The engineer will define, design, bring up, and debug new printed circuit board designs.
  • The engineer will collaborate with mechanical engineering, signal integrity, printed circuit board layout, and compliance teams.
  • The engineer will collaborate cross-functionally with product management, software, operations, and quality assurance.
  • The engineer will support the factory when needed for engineering builds and production.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Master of Science in Electrical Engineering is desired.
  • Experience with networking product design.
  • Experience designing for low cost.
  • Experience with operational technology, ruggedized products, and IP-rated products.
  • Experience with embedded central processing unit design, especially x86.

The drop continues a pattern where strong results trigger selloffs due to stretched valuations. Bank of America took the opposite view, recommending investors buy the dip. The firm noted that much of the recent growth stems from two acquisitions: the $25 billion purchase of CyberArk in February and the roughly $3.4 billion deal for Chronosphere. The company posted a GAAP net loss of $282 million for the quarter, driven by fair-value changes on convertible notes and integration costs.
