Requirements
  • A Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field with clinical licensure is required.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor through the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board is required.
  • Experience working with children and families involved with the child welfare system and/or children and families with incidents of abuse or neglect is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old per licensure requirements.
  • A valid Indiana driver's license and driving record that meets Damar's insurance-carrier eligibility requirements are required for positions requiring driving.
  • Applicants must be clear of felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect, or other disqualifying criminal convictions.
  • Applicants must successfully complete a pre-employment physical.
  • Applicants must favorably meet and maintain Damar's background screening.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and oversee community-based services, including program quality, audits, staffing, financial processes, and outcomes.
  • Ensure that services adhere to governing-body and referral-source standards, including Department of Child Services and Probation standards.
  • Oversee a team of bachelor's- and master's-level providers working with children and families involved with the Department of Child Services and/or Probation.
  • Provide clinical supervision and consultation to therapists for Family Prevention referrals.
  • Support file review, customer relations, crisis management, and individual and group clinical supervision.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Assign referrals to providers based on client need and requested services.
  • Review and approve monthly Department of Child Services reports.
  • Ensure compliance with service standards and documentation requirements for each program.
  • Ensure services are delivered according to agency, licensing, and accreditation standards.
  • Implement security practices to maintain compliance with HIPAA policies.
  • Adhere to Department of Child Services service standards, the Social Work Code of Ethics, and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and legible documentation.
  • Complete and update mandatory training and other licensure-related items in a timely manner.
  • Prioritize duties consistently with organizational objectives and growth.
  • Respect the culture, diversity, and rights of clients, their families, and the community.
