Responsibilities
  • Maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders across the Rare Disease organization to provide disease awareness, product knowledge, and referral support.
  • Identify and pursue potential patient opportunities in Community & Development accounts through strategic prospecting methods.
  • Manage five therapeutic areas and seven brands.
  • Build and execute clear account plans.
  • Achieve and exceed patient sales targets.
  • Cultivate a diverse network of healthcare provider relationships and engage with a variety of contacts and activities.
  • Educate targeted healthcare providers on the benefits of the Sanofi Rare Disease portfolio of therapies and offerings.
  • Build awareness of signs and symptoms of lysosomal storage disorders.
  • Educate healthcare providers on proper diagnosis pathways, diagnostic tests, and free testing programs.
  • Educate healthcare providers on product administration, treatment expectations, and the importance of adherence.
  • Support referral networks by encouraging referrals to appropriate specialists to manage treatments.
  • Convey complex clinical and reimbursement product information to key stakeholders in a highly competitive marketplace.
  • Collaborate with Sanofi team members within and across functions.
  • Travel as needed to assigned accounts and regions to meet with key stakeholders.

Sanofi, Regeneron expand alliance in up to $8B deal for immunology drugs

France's Sanofi and US-based Regeneron Pharmaceuticals will expand their 20-year partnership to jointly develop and market immunology medicines in a deal worth up to $8 billion. Regeneron will receive $1 billion upfront, with potential additional payments of up to $7 billion tied to development, regulatory, and commercial targets. The collaboration will add four next-generation immunology drug candidates invented by Regeneron, with one currently in early-stage trials for eczema. The companies will equally share development costs and future profits from new drugs, whilst their existing profit-sharing agreement for top-selling medicine Dupixent remains unchanged. The deal settles prior litigation between the companies and marks an early move by Sanofi's new chief executive Belen Garijo to strengthen the company's pipeline.
