ProSidian Seeks a Person in Charge (PIC) - [Tank Farms / ETP Integration] - Integration Management (Time and Materials | Non-Exempt) to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRR]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.  

This service supports Environmental Management Sector Clients and ProSidian Team Members (# FTe's: 1) work as part of a Engagement Team Cadre (Labor Category 30083) to fulfil T&M - Time and Materials (T&M) requirements. 

The Person in Charge (PIC) / Tank Farms/ ETP Integration IM 100  as a  Professional Grade position.

Person in Charge (PIC) - [Tank Farms / ETP Integration] - Integration Management Candidates shall work to support requirements for Technical General Support Services (GSSC) related to NAICS: 541690 - Environmental Consulting Services,  NAICS: 541690 - Scientific and Technical Consulting Services - Energy, and NAICS: 591690 - Professional Scientific Technical Consulting Services and

Perform duties as a Person In Charge (PIC) within the Tank Farms/ETP Integration organization at the Savannah River Site (SRS). Individual will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of a High Risk Activity and/or non-routine/complex work activity, as applicable, are properly integrated to meet the Facility Manager’s expectations for Integrated Safety Management, scheduling, command and control at the work site, and procedural/RWP/Work package compliance.

Qualifications

The Person in Charge (PIC) - [Tank Farms / ETP Integration] - Integration Management shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct.  The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.

Vehicle is required to travel between the site areas encompassed by the job’s responsibilities. Note: A Government Vehicle may be available for use in that travel. Candidate must have a High School Diploma and five (5) years of work experience as a Person in Charge (PIC) with a total of Twenty (20) years in the nuclear field. 1.  Practical experience with work control process (i.e., development, review, approval, issue execution and close-out of work control packages and associated lockouts).

2.             Practical experience with the development and execution of facility schedules.

3.             Practical experience as a Person in Charge with a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of that position.

4.             Ability to problem solve and identify options for completing assigned task.

5.             Positive working relationships with both internal and external customers.

6.             Previously qualified with the ability to obtain Radiation Worker Training II qualifications.

7.             Demonstrated knowledge of DOE, SRR and SRS operating policies, rules and regulations is beneficial.

8.             Experienced in the use of Microsoft Word and Asset Suite A 40 hour work week schedule as anticipated for this position. SRR utilizes various work schedules; 4/10s (10hrs/day; four days a week) 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days a week) and 9/80s (9 hours/ 5 days on week A and 4 days on week B.) Occasional overtime may be required based on the scope and duration of the specific task. Standard Facilities Access required but a security clearance is not currently required for this position

TRAVEL:  Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements.  Travel is coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, as allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.  LOCATION:  Work shall be conducted at or in proximity to Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina
