POSITION TITLE:

Operator Assistant

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Packages Work in Process (WIP) and finished product on production lines according to work instructions and/or customer specifications. Reworks nonconforming product.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Packages WIP and finished product from RTF and/or Printing lines
Runs the scoring machine
Reports any non-conformances noted during packing to the operator
Reworks nonconforming product in accordance with documented work instructions
Works 12 hour shifts standing on concrete
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Go up steps periodically throughout the day
Work in the heat
Performs other designated duties as assigned
Conducts duties according to plant safety policies and procedures

EDUCATION:

Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

Required: Successful completion of all training modules for Operator Assistant position.

SKILLS:

Required: Additional training requirements are identified and arrangements for the training made when needed.
