Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or a similar field, is preferred
  • Five-plus years of Senior Corporate Actions Management experience
  • Direct working knowledge of Corporate Actions processing in the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific
  • Hands-on experience in the development and implementation of Corporate Action processing systems
  • Experience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira
  • Experience documenting business requirements for consumption by technical development and engineering teams
  • A highly motivated individual, proactive and independently takes initiative
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
  • Manage the Global Corporate Actions team's process and product with groups in the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific regions
  • Set departmental priorities and allocate resources to align with business objectives
  • Participate in long-term and strategic systems planning for the Global Corporate Actions teams designed to improve client experience, team productivity and quality
  • Document business requirements for the integration of new products and enhancements to IBKR's proprietary Corporate Action System
  • Set strategic priorities on initiatives designed to improve Corporate Actions services and determine needed improvements through review and analysis of problems reported
  • Develop standards and procedures for operational excellence for all related functions. Incorporate input from internal departments and external sub-custodians, custodians, and depositories
  • Responsible for multiple team integration for workflow and personnel allocation
  • Serves as an escalation point for critical service issues or roadblocks
  • Responsible for developing appropriate staffing models to ensure team objectives and work requirements are completed timely and in compliance with department procedures
  • Manage the human resources of the global Corporate Actions area, including coaching, performance management and career development
