Haffner's to Introduce Full-Service Loyalty Program

Haffner's to introduce full-service loyalty program. Haffner's has announced a new collaboration with Liquid Barcodes to develop and power its new mobile app and loyalty program, which is expected to launch in early 2026. With nearly 70 convenience stores and car wash sites across Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine, Haffner's is taking a major step forward in creating a fully integrated digital ecosystem that connects all its businesses under one unified Haffner's banner. Haffner's selected Liquid Barcodes for its comprehensive platform capabilities, which include mobile app development, full-stack loyalty solutions, car wash membership management and the ability to integrate multiple business lines into one unified system. With this partnership, Haffner's will operate on a single, consolidated platform, eliminating the need to manage multiple databases or coordinate among different technology vendors. Haffner's retains full ownership and control of its customer data, ensuring transparency and trust in every digital interaction. "Our goal is to deliver one seamless digital experience that unites every part of the Haffner's brand - from fueling and in-store purchases to car wash memberships and our home heating oil and propane services," said Janet Ries, chief brand officer at Haffner's. "Partnering with Liquid Barcodes allows us to bring all of our offerings under one connected platform, simplify our technology stack, remove friction and deliver more value to our customers through a unified, data-driven experience." The upcoming Haffner's app will feature a robust customer engagement ecosystem combining loyalty, rewards, gamification and subscriptions in one intuitive solution. "We're proud to partner with Haffner's in delivering a unified, end-to-end digital solution designed for growth," said Saurabh Swarup, GM North America, Liquid Barcodes. "Beyond technology, we operate a dedicated customer success function that ensures we are a true partner to our retailers, working closely with their teams to optimize program performance, deepen engagement and achieve long-term success. Our goal is to help forward-thinking retailers like Haffner's stay ahead of the curve while maintaining full data control and operational simplicity." Founded in 1981, Energy North Group is one of the largest wholesale and retail fuel distributors in the Northeast. Its flagship brand, Haffner's, is celebrating 100 years of fueling communities with dependable energy solutions with offerings spanning fuel, convenience, car wash and home heating solutions including heating oil and propane.
