Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Robotics Engineering is required.
  • One to three or more years of experience validating embedded systems, control software, or robotics firmware is required.
  • Strong Python and Rust or C++ skills are required for automated test scripts and analysis.
  • Continuous integration and continuous delivery experience, such as Jenkins, is required.
  • Understanding of digital and analog input/output and robotics communications, including Controller Area Network, Ethernet, Universal Serial Bus, and serial communications, is required.
  • Experience with requirements traceability and defect management is required.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the hardware-in-the-loop test environment by combining physical hardware, including electronic control units, sensors, and motor controllers, with simulated dynamics for stress and fault-injection testing.
  • Build and maintain automated test frameworks, reporting, dashboards, and the artificial intelligence analyzer, and keep continuous integration jobs on the hardware-in-the-loop systems green.
  • Expand the more than 30 module self-tests, improve the associated data pipeline, and own regression and smoke test coverage.
  • Integrate high-speed data acquisition and bus tracing for Controller Area Network, Inter-Integrated Circuit, and Ethernet to support hardware and firmware diagnostics.
  • Partner with robot software and Nimble Health to improve the simulation models used on the hardware-in-the-loop systems.
  • Lead physical pick-and-pack testing by evaluating and optimizing stock-keeping unit pickability, grip reliability, and placement accuracy.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hardware-in-the-loop experience is strongly preferred.
  • MATLAB/Simulink experience is a plus.

Nimble Robotics uses AI to optimize eCommerce logistics, coordinating fulfillment, inventory planning, and delivery speed with robotic systems that handle bin-sized items; larger items are handled manually. It offers a pay-as-you-go model with no upfront capital, plus pilot programs and plug-and-play integrations with Shopify, Netsuite, and Skubana. Its edge comes from combining AI-driven optimization, robotic fulfillment, flexible pilots, and seamless platform integrations to speed deliveries and improve order accuracy and customer satisfaction. The goal is to help eCommerce brands—from startups to Fortune 500s—scale fulfillment efficiently without upfront investment while achieving faster deliveries.

Nimble will showcase its Web Search Agents at AI4 2026 in Las Vegas from 4-6 August at The Venetian Convention and Expo Center. The company's booth will feature live demonstrations of its agentic search product, which autonomously learns users' domains to execute complex web research tasks. The platform specialises in self-learning for specific use cases, aiming to improve accuracy and reduce token costs compared to generalist web search tools. Nimble is available via API, SDK and MCP, enabling AI builders to access live web intelligence. The company currently powers over 90 million searches daily for Fortune 500 enterprises and AI-native companies. Booth activities will include product demos, a Formula 1 racing simulator, and a giveaway for a VIP weekend package to the Las Vegas Formula 1 Grand Prix in November.
