- Hands-on experience with commercial access control, closed-circuit television, and intrusion systems.
- Ability to read blueprints.

- Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 75–100%, with flexible shifts.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and no driving under the influence or driving while intoxicated conviction in the past three years.
- Basic tools and personal protective equipment.
- Reliable personal transportation for use during initial training.
- Maintain access control, closed-circuit television, and intrusion alarm systems at retail sites.
- Run low-voltage cables and perform conduit work.
- Drill concrete and cut in door strikes and magnetic locks.
- Test and troubleshoot systems to ensure full functionality and compliance with local and federal codes.
- Partner with project managers and provide on-site and remote technical support.
- Experience with fire alarm systems and data cabling.
