- Typically requires 3–5+ years of prior experience, with practical knowledge of the job area.
- Experience in fraud investigation and remediation is required.
- Strong customer service and victim support skills are required.
- Experience handling fraud recovery and resolution is required.
- Ability to manage difficult or sensitive conversations is required.
- Call center or high-volume customer interaction experience is required.
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills are required.
- Experience resolving executive or escalated complaints, such as Office of the President complaints, is required.
- Empathy, sound judgment, and professionalism are required.
- Ability to balance fraud risk with a positive customer experience is required.
- Investigate suspected incidents of illegal activity or suspected fraud by teammates, vendors, or third parties.
- Coordinate information gathering and reporting with applicable law enforcement authorities, and present evidence to court.
- Maintain case management records and evidence in accordance with legal requirements.
- Work independently with general supervision on difficult, typically non-complex problems.
- Influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Financial institution or banking experience is preferred.
