OpenX, the world’s largest people-based advertising exchange, is growing its sales and business development functions and searching for a highly motivated individual ready to help drive the success of our teams through sales strategy and go-to-market execution. This person will be a key business partner for the sales and BD teams, responsible for driving sales effectiveness and productivity. This individual should be innovative, collaborative, and adept at identifying and addressing the needs of the sales teams.
Reporting to the VP, Revenue Strategy & Operations, this role is global in scope and ideal for an experienced practitioner of sales strategy and enablement, with “can do” energy, a focus on activities that drive sales results, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and address sales training needs, to develop and lead a comprehensive sales on-boarding program in tight collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Drive sales’ adoption of new products through trainings, collateral creation, and process definition
- Identify, evaluate, and implement technology and tools to enhance sales productivity, such as prospecting, information management, etc.
- Oversee definition, refinement, and implementation of sales processes
- Collaborate with sales leadership to design and facilitate sales events like Sales Kick-off (SKO) and quarterly sales meetings
- Gather industry trends and competitive intelligence and transform that data into digestible learning programs, field-ready assets, toolkits, etc.
- Partner with Sales Leadership and HR Business Partner to establish a sales competency and assessment framework to ensure that sales personnel are prepared to meet or exceed quota targets
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience in sales enablement, sales coaching, mentoring, digital advertising sales, and/or management consulting; digital marketing/AdTech industry experience strongly preferred
- Proven success scoping, designing, and implementing sales enablement programs
- Deep knowledge of how sales people communicate, learn, and perform; experience identifying performance needs and translating into enablement solutions
- Proficiency with sales models, processes, and professional sales skills
- Ability to effectively partner and collaborate with business stakeholders in a way that brings energy and focus
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree

- Results Orientation: Strong drive to achieve goals and make an impact on the business; natural bias toward proactive approach to problem solving
- Facilitation: Confident personal presence and proven facilitation skills that drive participant engagement
- Technical Fluency: comfortable learning and working with new tools, technologies, and products; able to quickly grasp, simplify, and communicate technical content
- Operational skillset with ability to vision and build scalable, repeatable programs
- Minor or advanced degree in a business discipline preferred

A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. The salary range may differ in other states.
