Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other relevant STEM field
  • 15+ years of experience in Aerospace engineering development and leadership
  • 5+ years of experience in leading a multi-functional, technically-oriented, Integrated Product Team
  • Detailed knowledge of high and low voltage electrical power distribution topologies
  • 5+ years of experience working with Aerospace technologies, products, and services
  • Strong engineering analytical and technical skills with demonstrated experience delivering integrated technical solutions
  • Strong communicator with excellent soft skills
  • Experience performing cost and schedule management
  • Experience with risk, issues, and/or opportunity management
  • Strong decision-making abilities
  • Effective at managing a wide range of tasks and rapidly changing priorities
  • Knowledge of systems engineering and systems safety analyses and processes
Responsibilities
  • Lead technical development efforts related to architecture, design, development, integration, validation, performance, certification, and production
  • Engage with other IPT Leads, Chief Engineers, Functional Managers, Program Office, and Company Leadership for successful program planning and execution
  • Define schedule inputs and changes into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Monitor technical maturity and address issues impacting progression
  • Plan and coordinate activities to support formal validation and verification
  • Implement and follow Risk management activities
  • Coordinate engineering review, approval, and release processes of key deliverables
  • Support multidisciplinary program reviews and presentations throughout development phases
