Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Construction Management or a related field is required.
  • Relevant construction or project management experience is required.
  • Significant knowledge and experience of infrastructure, engineering, and construction are required, along with familiarity with construction management procedures.
  • Experience with UK construction contracting methodologies, including NEC contracts and collaborative delivery models, is preferred.
  • Experience managing fast-track construction programs with aggressive schedules and multiple concurrent workstreams is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating with public agencies, utility providers, local authorities, and external stakeholders on large-scale development projects is preferred.
  • Ability to plan and organise projects, influence teams, negotiate with vendors and contractors, and understand and enforce safety requirements is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentations is required.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver property development construction projects, including enabling works, infrastructure, utilities, roads, structures, and buildings.
  • Oversee construction coordination throughout the project lifecycle, including design integration, construction documentation, contractor interfaces, field operations, schedule and budget management, and on-site issue resolution.
  • Establish and lead teams to support safe, timely, and cost-effective project execution through field leadership and stakeholder coordination.
  • Qualify, procure, select, contract with, and manage the performance of contractors, vendors, manufacturers, and fabricators required for facility development.
  • Ensure project procedures are followed for correspondence, requests for information, directives, shop drawings, submittals, meeting minutes, punch lists, snag lists, notices, and pay applications.
  • Coordinate contractors on site and develop suitable construction methodologies.
  • Oversee project safety, obtain final acceptance for contractor safety plans, and ensure compliance with Environment, Health and Safety standards.
  • Coordinate and implement the design in accordance with the project vision and concept-development objectives.
  • Qualify, procure, select, contract with, and manage engineering and technical designers hired for the design phase.
  • Ensure successful design completion within the established project budget and schedule.
  • Support integrated project delivery by partnering with design, operational, facilities, and construction teams to ensure constructability, operational readiness, and alignment across workstreams.
  • Manage, track, and report project components, including on-site quality and project progress, and maintain completion documentation.
  • Lead construction sequencing, phasing, and schedule coordination for critical milestones and opening commitments across infrastructure, utilities, attractions, technology systems, and operational teams.
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve construction, operational, interface, and schedule risks affecting project delivery or opening readiness.
  • Maintain the overall project budget and schedule within approved objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with UK construction regulations, permitting requirements, CDM regulations, environmental standards, and safety requirements throughout project delivery.
  • Follow established environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, training, and team-member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
