Overview
Alarm.com is seeking a technically skilled Growth Marketing Manager to execute the next phase of our growth marketing strategy, digital marketing presence, and website operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, dynamic, and world-class websites. They should be adept at SEO, as well as have competency in HTML, CSS, and Javascript, and be well-versed in the latest content management systems such as Drupal, WordPress, and Craft. In particular, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how CMS impacts the front end user interface.
We are looking for a candidate that has experience integrating digital marketing and demand generation strategies to leverage inbound marketing tactics to generate qualified leads for the sales team. A solid understanding of marketing operations, including the use of marketing automation tools and performance metrics, is required. Specific experience with Salesforce CRM is a must and Salesforce Account Engagement is preferred.
This role involves collaborating with a team of web developers, designers and digital marketing professionals while coordinating across teams and business units. Communication skills are paramount.
This role will support Alarm.com, including our International team, as well as our subsidiaries such as OpenEye and Shooter Detection Systems. This role is an in-person role, and can be located at either Alarm.com’s headquarters in Tysons, Virginia, or at our OpenEye office Spokane, Washington metro area.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute a strategic inbound digital marketing plan, collaborating cross-functionally across teams and business units to ensure alignment with business objectives, content, and visual identity.
- Facilitate collaboration with web developers and marketing professionals, align strategies with business objectives, and maintain an SEO-optimized, user-friendly website that reflects the brand’s goals.
- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase visibility of the company’s content in search engine results. This includes keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and monitoring SEO performance.
- Manage marketing operations, ensuring effective use of marketing automation tools for lead nurturing and conversion. This includes managing and optimizing the use of Salesforce and marketing automation platforms to track prospect interactions and measure campaign performance.
- Execute demand generation strategies to attract and convert qualified leads. This includes creating targeted campaigns, managing lead generation, collaborating with the sales team, and leveraging inbound marketing tactics to convert prospects into opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns. Use data to make informed decisions about future marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with web developers and IT teams to handle technical aspects of the website, including server management, code deployment, and troubleshooting. Support existing security protocols and adapt to legal and regulatory changes to ensure adherence to ADA standards, privacy laws, industry standards, and best practices.
- Streamline content updates across databases and servers, coordinating meticulously with marketing, sales, and customer service. Leverage AI and other advanced technologies to enhance website functionalities and amplify user engagement.
- Collaborate on innovative digital projects, leveraging the latest technologies to expand and elevate the organization’s digital presence and capabilities.
- Create thorough documentation in Confluence.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with extensive experience in digital marketing, demand generation, website operations, content management systems, and SEO. They should also have a good understanding of web design and development principles and be able to lead projects effectively. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines is essential.
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or other relevant field. Master’s degree or MBA a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in demand generation, digital marketing, web operations, web development, or a related field.
- Several years of experience managing teams and projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems (Salesforce), SEO tools, content management systems, website infrastructure, website development, performance optimization, and security.
- Ability to analyze marketing data and metrics to assess campaign performance and inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

- The pay range for this opportunity is $85,000 - $105,000 annually. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
