  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or valid and current certification through the NMTCB or AART.
  • At least 3 years of relevant and progressive sales experience in a medical, healthcare, technical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences field is preferred.
  • Experience selling into hospitals, contracting, and buying or billing products, or relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
  • A proven track record of developing, organizing, and implementing sales plans; meeting and exceeding sales targets; penetrating new accounts and markets; prospecting; qualifying leads; selling; and negotiating.
  • The ability to achieve sales objectives while operating in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Salesforce customer relationship management entry and opportunity management experience.
  • Demonstrated selling skills, analytical skills, and pharmaceutical industry acumen.
  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities through effective organizational, people, and time management skills.
  • Must be willing to reside in the assigned territory.
  • Must be willing and able to travel overnight 30% of the time.

Responsibilities
  • Develop business plans and execution strategies for key imaging centers and referring physicians.
  • Conduct pre-call planning and in-call questioning to understand customer needs, craft solutions, and drive utilization.
  • Collaborate with market access support teams to optimize payer contract implementation and satisfaction across imaging centers and hospitals.
  • Monitor territory plan performance and communicate results and action steps to cross-functional partners.
  • Develop deep knowledge of diagnostic algorithms and care pathways used by physicians to evaluate patients with neurodegenerative diseases, including Parkinson's disease and essential tremor.
  • Communicate the Neurology team's strategy, goals, and plans to cross-functional team members and customers, including how imaging scans fit into GE Healthcare's vision and goals for patient care.
  • Open hospitals and imaging centers to offer imaging services that utilize DaTscan.
  • Generate patient referrals by educating community physicians and specialists about the diagnostic tool through in-service and speaker programs.
  • Create relationships with key targets, convey valuable information in condensed timeframes, and earn access to difficult-to-see physicians.
  • Compile lists of prospective customers and sales leads and follow up as necessary.
  • Work with account managers to increase prospects and drive closure of opportunities.
  • Make cold calls to potential customers where required.
  • Provide pricing strategy, manage contracts, and ensure pricing compliance for segment opportunities.
  • Deliver solutions and manage relationships between assigned pharmacies and customers.
  • Forecast orders and sales for the assigned territory and submit monthly reports.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote the product and company.
  • Achieve individual sales targets for the assigned territory.
  • Develop deep knowledge of DaTscan, DaTQUANT, and other portfolio products to articulate key selling messages to relevant customers.
  • Demonstrate understanding of the imaging marketplace, including business goals and nuclear medicine and positron emission tomography products and equipment used in hospitals and independent imaging centers.
  • Address product-related questions and promptly locate answers or experts for questions requiring specialist input.
  • Profile the typical patient flow from a prescriber request for a scan through scheduling, product procurement, scan interpretation, and reporting to the prescribing physician.
  • Identify top referring prescribers, create relationships, and appropriately influence decision-making criteria that may drive utilization of GE Neurology imaging agents.

AsiaMedic has become the first site in ASEAN to implement MR31, GE HealthCare's latest generation MRI platform featuring deep learning technology. The Singapore-based imaging centre is among the earliest adopters in Asia Pacific. MR31 incorporates deep learning technologies that reduce scan times and enable detailed examinations across neurological, musculoskeletal and nerve imaging. Sonic DL for 3D delivers up to 12 times scan acceleration, reducing examination times across brain, spine, orthopaedic and body scans. The platform also supports high-quality prostate MRI imaging. AIR Recon DL Phase Correction provides improved visualisation of clinically significant lesions, whilst high-resolution T2-weighted imaging aids lesion localisation for prostate fusion biopsy planning. Shorter scan times mean reduced patient time in scanners and may help decrease repeat examinations caused by movement.

GE HealthCare launches AI tool to forecast hospital capacity bottlenecks 72 hours ahead

GE HealthCare has launched CareIntellect for Operations, an AI-powered software application that helps health systems forecast capacity constraints up to 72 hours ahead. The solution analyses hundreds of patient and operational data points to predict bottlenecks and recommend actions to optimise capacity and throughput. The Queen's Health Systems and Duke Health will be the first to implement the application. It uses two proprietary AI models: the Pressure Forecast model, which predicts resource constraints across hospitals and departments, and the Estimated Day of Discharge model, which predicts when patients will be discharged. GE HealthCare secures CE mark for Photonova Spectra photon-counting CT system

GE HealthCare has received CE mark approval for its Photonova Spectra photon-counting computed tomography system, enabling commercial sales in markets recognising CE marking. The clearance follows US Food and Drug Administration approval and Japanese regulatory clearance in March 2026. The system uses GE HealthCare's Deep Silicon detector technology to deliver ultra-high definition spectral and spatial imaging.
