Oklahoma Public School Resource Center announces inaugural Breakthrough School Awards. May 14, 2026 The Oklahoma Public School Resource Center (OPSRC) has announced the launch of its inaugural Breakthrough School Awards, recognizing public schools and districts across Oklahoma that demonstrate measurable academic growth, strong instructional leadership and meaningful student support. "Across Oklahoma, schools are doing extraordinary work to move students forward," said OPSRC Executive Director Dr. April Grace. "The Breakthrough School Awards are about shining a light on that progress through a thoughtful, data-driven approach that allows us to learn from schools and districts that are moving the needle for students in our state." Schools will be recognized for three grade categories - elementary, K-8 and K-12 districts - with honors in four award categories: Overcomer, Sustainability, Platinum 70 and Platinum 70 Plus.
