Performance & Reliability Engineer

<strong>Job Requirements </strong><br><p>Role Summary</p><p>We are seeking a hands-on <strong>Performance & Reliability Engineer</strong> with strong expertise in <strong>JMeter</strong>, enterprise-scale <strong>NFR testing</strong>, and modern <strong>AI-assisted engineering tools</strong> (Copilot, Claude, etc.). The primary focus areas are <strong>Performance, Reliability, Scalability, Resilience, and Failover Testing</strong>.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Define and execute NFR test strategies, plans, and acceptance criteria for enterprise applications.</li><li>Design and perform performance, load, stress, endurance, scalability, failover, recovery, and reliability testing.</li><li>Create realistic test data, workloads, and production-like environments for NFR validation.</li><li>Analyze system bottlenecks across applications, databases, infrastructure, and networks, and drive optimization efforts.</li><li>Validate system resilience through failover, disaster recovery, chaos, and recovery testing.</li><li>Integrate automated NFR testing into CI/CD pipelines and leverage AI tools to accelerate test design and analysis.</li><li>Evaluate system performance, availability, latency, throughput, and reliability against defined SLAs/SLOs.</li></ul><p> </p><br><br><strong>Work Experience </strong><br><p>Required Skills</p><ul><li>6-8 years of experience in Performance Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or NFR Testing.</li><li>Strong hands-on expertise with <strong>Apache JMeter</strong>.</li><li>Experience defining and implementing NFR test strategies for large-scale enterprise applications.</li><li>Strong knowledge of:<ul><li>Performance, Load, Stress, and Endurance Testing</li><li>Reliability, Scalability, Resilience, and Failover Testing</li><li>Capacity Planning and Recovery Testing</li><li>Chaos Engineering</li></ul></li><li>Experience creating synthetic test data and realistic test environments.</li><li>Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, cloud platforms, and observability tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk, or Prometheus.</li><li>Hands-on exposure to AI tools such as <strong>Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT</strong>.</li></ul><p>Preferred Skills</p><ul><li>Experience testing large-scale platforms such as OTT, collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams), or other high-volume enterprise systems.</li><li>Medical/Healthcare domain experience is a plus but not mandatory.</li><li>Strong learning mindset and passion for Performance & Reliability Engineering.</li></ul><p> </p><br><br>
