About the Job

Requirements

  • An Engineering degree in Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or a related STEM field, with at least 5 years of experience designing embedded security systems, including requirements, architecture, and testing.
  • At least 3 years of experience in at least 3 of the following: model-based systems engineering, Common Criteria certification, cybersecurity solution deployment involving firewalls, anti-DDoS, or risk management, IP/IPv6 networking, or embedded Linux.
  • Hands-on expertise in cryptography-centric design, including classified information handling, crypto governance, EBIOS risk assessments, or translating business needs into technical security solutions.
  • Proven experience with security certification frameworks such as Common Criteria, and adherence to technical and governance constraints in high-assurance environments such as classified or regulated sectors.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, with a track record of pragmatic delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and bridging technical, business, and operational gaps.

Responsibilities

  • Design customer-centric cryptographic architectures by analyzing security needs, defining optimal solutions, and serving as the primary technical interface for stakeholders.
  • Lead system specification, design, and Make/Team/Buy decisions, collaborating with hardware, software, security, and quality assurance teams to deliver compliant, high-assurance cryptographic solutions.
  • Act as the technical authority on cryptography, driving innovation, risk assessments, and best practices to counter evolving threats such as post-quantum algorithms and meet regulatory standards such as FIPS and Common Criteria.
  • Own technical documentation, including high-level and low-level designs, test plans, and user manuals, with end-to-end traceability from requirements through implementation, validation, and deployment, ensuring audit readiness.
  • Support sales and marketing teams in technical pre-sales activities, including requests for information and proposals, demonstrations, and proofs of concept, by translating complex cryptographic concepts into customer-facing solutions.
  • Guide development and testing teams to ensure on-time delivery, security compliance, and performance optimization of cryptographic implementations.
  • Assess and mitigate cryptographic risks, including side-channel attacks and key management vulnerabilities, while aligning solutions with global security standards and customer-specific requirements.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with tools such as Capella, DOORS, Polarion, Jira, or LaTeX.
  • Experience sharing knowledge through seminars, webinars, or whitepapers.
