Requirements
  • Already be trained and operational within the Cree health network or specifically at CMC Miyu.
  • Hold a university bachelor's degree in an appropriate social-sciences discipline, such as criminology, psychology, social work, or psychoeducation.
  • Have a current CPR certificate and a valid N95 mask-fit test certificate issued within the last two years.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments, referrals, crisis interventions, and follow-up with service users at the CMC.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate psychosocial intervention plans adapted to the cultural realities of the Cree community of Whapmagoostui (Eeyou Istchee).
  • Collaborate closely with the health centre's multidisciplinary team and local community partners.
  • Document clinical records rigorously and prepare required reports according to the establishment's standards.
