Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
  • At least five years of related experience in a company with over 400+ employees
  • Extensive knowledge of payroll functions
  • General knowledge of general ledger concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proficient with a variety of payroll software like Paylocity, Workday, UKG, and Ceridian
Responsibilities
  • Implementing, maintaining, and reviewing payroll systems
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll updates
  • Processing semi-monthly and ad hoc payrolls
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll laws and best practices
  • Facilitating audits by providing records and documentation
  • Identifying and recommending updates to payroll software and procedures
  • Assisting accounting department with payroll related requests
