Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Hospital experience and departmental experience are preferred.
- Demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to customer service.
- Work as part of a team with a focus on providing seamless patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform various patient-care activities and related non-professional services to support patient comfort and personal needs.
- Use a systematic approach to assess patient needs and collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff.
- Promote teamwork and maintain adherence to all departmental standards.
- Support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment.
- Work 72 hours per two-week pay period on a primary 6:45 PM–7:15 AM shift, with a schedule that may include 12-hour and 8-hour shifts, every third weekend, and holiday responsibilities.
